Nintendo 3ds is a gaming console developed by nintendo that were released worldwide on march 2011. Nintendo 3ds is the first 3D portable gaming console that is capable of displaying stereoscopic 3D effects without 3D glasses. Sony’s playstation vita was the competitor of nintendo 3ds. Although Playstation Vita was not a successful gaming device.
Nintendo announced a price reduction from $249 to $169 because of its disappointing launch sales. Later nintendo offered ten free NES games and ten free GBA games from the eShop to consumers who bought the device at the original ($249) price. Because of the huge price drop the console was a major success and it went to become one of nintendo’s most successful portable gaming console in the first 2 years.
